SS Rajamouli's epic war drama Baahubali, from the moment it's released is breaking all industry records till date. After breaking all box office records has now targeted the small screen records. The makers of the movie hasn't sold the satellite rights of Baahubali till now and our latest news is that a popular TV channel has grabbed the rights for a staggering amount.
For the past few days there are rumors of Ramoji Rao's ETV retaining the rights of Baahubali: The Beginning for 20 crores. However, our reliable sources have confirmed that the satellite rights for both Baahubali: The Beginning and Conclusion were bagged by Maa TV for a whooping 30 crores. So on average 15 crores were spent for each part which is a record in itself.
Normally the satellite rights of a popular film doesn't even cross 10 crores, but to fetch 30 crores in rights is a great achievement for Baahubali. Not just that, selling a movie for about 15 crores even before the completion of the shoot is another record. As always Maa TV proves to be the king of grabbing big films in Tollywood.
