Bollywood best buddies Akshay Kumar and Vipul Shah are getting ready to collaborate once again for 'Namastey England'. Many have speculated that Namastey England is a sequel to 2007 super hit film Namastey London, but the director said that it isn't a sequel and nothing to do with the story.
Recently Namastey England was in the news for some time as new names are popping up as the lady lead opposite Akshay from a few days. First the news said that Akshay's luck charm Katrina Kaif would be part of the film, then the names of Anushka Sharma, Kangana Ranaut and Sonakshi Sinha came forth. In the recent trailer launch program of 'Singh Is Bliing', Akshay rubbished all those rumors and said the heroine of their film is not yet finalized.
When asked about the release date Akshay said that he is currently working on Housefull 3 and after this he will do Airlift and Neeraj Pandey’s Rustom, so Namastey England will probably go on floors sometime in April 2016. So if all goes well and the film starts in April we are sure that Akki will be releasing the film by the end of 2016.
