Superstar Mahesh Babu has gifted a brand new Audi A6 Matrix worth Rs 50 lakh to Koratala Siva the director of the recent super hit film Srimanthudu. The Srimanthudu star attended the audio release function of 'Akhil' on the last Sunday evening and just after the event he went to the Audi A6 showroom in Hyderabad and asked the director to come to the showroom immediately and handed him the keys and surprised him.
"Mahesh Babu was very impressed with Koratala for the super success of Srimanthudu and gifted the director an Audi A6 which is worth around 50 lakh," says a source. When Mahesh was asked as why he chose this car he replied "it is one of the coolest cars with a lot of features in this segment and it gives a smooth drive".
This gift was planned as a surprise to the director and Koratala was stunned by this sudden gesture. Mahesh Babu's wife Namrata Shirodkar and Mr. Rajiv Sanghvi, Managing Director of Audi showroom were present at the do.
After his flop shows like 'Aagadu' and '1 Nenokkadine', Koratala Siva gave the much needed success to the actor with 'Srimanthudu'. Mahesh Babu was not only the lead actor in this flick he also became a co-producer and produced the film under the banner of G Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt Ltd. This made the actor earn more money than the actor usually charge. So no wonder the big hearted Mahesh Babu has expressed his gratitude by gifting this expensive gift.
