'Oopiri - Celebration of Life' is Akkineni Nagarjuna and Karthi's upcoming bilingual (Tamil and Telugu) movie produced by Prasad V. Potluri. The film is a remake of the 2011 French film 'The Intouchables'. The makers have released the first look and motion poster of Oopiri ('Thozha' in Tamil) on the occasion of Nagarjuna's father late Akkineni Nageswara Rao's birthday.
Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the revolves around the concept of celebrating the life to the fullest, thus the caption of the film is 'Celebration of Life' which can be seen in the poster in large capital letters. The film also features milky beauty Tamannaah. While releasing the first look on Twitter, Nagarjuna tweeted "#letscelebratelife releasing the first look of PVP Cinema today 1pm. Another adventure begins for me in The film world. Looking forward!!!(sic)".
The most part of the film is shot in Paris and the Eifel Tower stands out in the poster. In this movie Nagarjuna who is known for experimenting with his roles plays as a quadriplegic while Karthi plays as his caretaker. In the poster we can see the youth celebrating and dancing in the backdrop while Karthi looks happily pushing the wheelchair of Nagarjuna.
