Earlier there were rumors around the upcoming 3D historical film Rudramadevi release date being postponed again, but Gunasekhar, the director of the film slams these rumors and confirmed that the film will release on October 9th as announced.
On 9th of October, the film will be released in the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. A source says that these rumors were started from Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce where they had set up a meeting with Gunasekhar and requested him to postpone his film Rudhramadevi as many big films releasing in the month of October. But the director has refused to postpone the film.
Meanwhile, the makers of Anushka's upcoming rom-com film Size-Zero also announced the release date of their film as October 9 which made all think that Rudhramadevi will be postponed again as both films have same heroine. It's also said that Anushka has tried to talk with Size-Zero makers postpone the film and make way for Rudhramadevi.
Looks like October is going to become a festival of movies for film lovers with many big films like Puli, Bruce Lee, Shivam, Size-Zero, Kanche and Rudramadevi gearing up for a release one after the other.
