Mahesh Babu Takes 25 Crores as Remuneration for Murugadoss Film

Latest gossip on Mahesh Babu's remuneration is creating huge waves in Telugu film industry. According to our sources, Superstar Mahesh Babu is being paid a record 25 crores for his next bilingual movie, which will be directed by A. R. Murugadoss.

Till now only Rajinikanth has received such a high remuneration in South India and with this Mahesh Babu becomes the top paid actor in Tollywood. The Mahesh Babu - Murugadoss film is going to be one of the costliest films in South India with a budget over 100 crores the duo are planning the movie on par with international standards.

Mahesh Babu has received 17 crores as remuneration for his previous film Srimanthudu which went on becoming a super hit collecting over 100 Crores. With the movie with Murugadoss, he will be receiving a hike of 8 crores.

Grapevine has it that N V Prasad the producer of the film is paying such a huge amount to Mahesh as this was a Telugu-Tamil bilingual project and received the dates of Mahesh on the priority basis.

The film will go on floors on 12th of April 2016 and music for the film may be composed by either Anirudh Ravichander or Harris Jayaraj. The makers are planning to rope Shruthi Haasan for the heroine role opposite Mahesh Babu.
