The first look posters of upcoming Tamil science fiction film '24' starring Suriya is out. Actor Suriya himself released the two first look posters of 24 on Twitter and wrote: "Here's the first look of #24TheMovie very close to my heart, loved working! Hope you guys like it! #24FirstLook (sic)".
Even the failures like Anjaan and Masss couldn't stop Suriya from trying new subjects and genres. The actor is known for his experiments in his looks for each film. In this movie Surya dons two new looks - one looks like a fierce mafia don while the other looks like a cheerful scientist.
Of the two first looks, the poster of cheerful scientist got the attention of Kollywood and Tollywood fans. Surya looks intriguing in the poster with a headgear which has the mechanical goggles and a torch on it.
The movie was in the news for some time for various reasons such as Anil Kumar opposing the films name for using his shows title and also it was rumored that the film was a remake of the directors superhit Telugu film 'Manam'.
The film 24 is directed by Vikram Kumar and the film is rumored to be based on the time-travel concept. Actresses Samantha and Nithya Menen acts as the female leads opposite Surya who is co-producing the film with Gnanavel Raja under their 2D Entertainment and Studio Green banners.
The film also features Ajay, Sathyan, Girish Karnad, Mohan Raman, Saranya Ponvannan, Natarajan Balakrishnan and TS Ranganathan in supporting roles. The music and background score for the film is composed by AR Rahman and the film is all set for a worldwide release in 2016 summer.
