It isn't a new thing to launch star kids in the film industry but most of them couldn't use this opportunity of ready made fans to full extent. Only one in five star kids are becoming successful while the remaining couldn't increase their screen time. Its about time for the young Akkineni scion to make his debut in Tollywood.
Born to Nagarguna and Amala, Akhil is all set to debut in the film under the direction V V Vinayak while actor Nithiin produces the film. The title of the film is confirmed as 'Akhil: The Power of Jua' where Akhil will be romancing another debutante Sayyeshaa Saigal. the first look poster of the film was released on Thursday and the trailer of Akhil will be released on August 29th on the occasion of his father Nagarjuna's Birthday.
Akhil looks tall, handsome and stunning in the poster holding something that looks like a fireball in his hand. The first look poster got huge response from film fraternity. SS Rajamouli tweeted "First look of “AKHIL“ is arresting and intriguing…ATB vinaygaru, Nitin and the new kid on the block.. Akhil Akkineni (sic)" While releasing the first look poster actor Nithiin who is also producing the film along with his father Sudhakar Reddy tweeted they couldn't decide which poster to release so they have to release both the posters.
