Kabali is an upcoming Tamil action movie where superstar Rajinikanth plays as a Chennai based don known as 'Kabaliswaran'. It is Rajinikanth's 159th film directed by Pa. Ranjith while Radhika Apte, Prakash Raj, Kalaiyarasan, Dhansika, and Dinesh Ravi in act as supporting cast.
Ever since the news of Rajini playing as don leaked the media and fans started comparing Kabali to his super hit film 'Baasha'. Recently, when Rajini attended Baasha's producer RM Veerappan's 90th birthday function he told media that Kabali has no similarities with Baasha and the magic of Baasha can't be recreated.
Recently the director of the film Pa. Ranjith also confirmed this and rubbished all those rumors. He said there was no similarities between the two films as both of them deals with different stories.
