Krish Jagarlamudi About Varun Tej's Kanche
Mega prince Varun Tej's upcoming movie Kanche is all set to be released. The recently released Kanche teaser got a lot of good reviews from all over the film industry. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi its a love story set against the backdrop of World War 2. In an interview with Krish about his most ambitious project "Kanche" he revealed a lot of interesting facts about the movie. Here are some excerpts from his interview:

Q. What is the budget of Kanche?
The budget of the film is about 21 crores all spent by me. Its not an easy task to show the times of World War. A lot of research has been done into the movie. To make it look natural we went to camps of Georgia military base for war scenes and used real ammunition to get the feel correct.

Q. Why did you choose Varun Tej?
Because of his Looks and Personality. We saw the look of a soulder during the times of World War 2 in him. We wanted our hero to look like an innocent college student and Varun fits the bill. So we thought Varun Tej will do justice to the character.

Q. Your reactions on SS Rajamouli's praising Kanche teaser?
I was very much exited hearing Rajamouli's kind words. He said he could see the amount of hard work and research put into the movie. This is a story I was trying to tell for a very long time. As soon as I completer Gabbar Is Back I started working on this project.

Q. About the Story of Kanche?
It is a first Telugu film on World War. It is a love story of Dhoopati Hari Babu (Varun Tej) and Rachakonda Seetha Devi's (Pragya Jaiswal). Like many contries which are separated by fence (Kanche) their love is also separated by fences like comunity, language etc. I am using the this as a theme in this movie to understand love, friendship and war.
