| Nandamuri Kalyanram and NTR at Kick 2 Audio Launch |
The latest gossip running in Tollywood is that Jr. NTR had apparently lost about 12 crores due to Kick 2 which has failed miserably at the box office. Kick 2 was produced by NTR's brother Nandamuri Kalyanram who faced a lot of financial issues during the film shooting and release. At this time NTR came in support of his brother and invested nearly 6 crores to bail out the movie from financial crisis.
But the trouble for Kick 2 hasn't stopped at the shooting itself. Even after completing the film shoot in April the film got delayed till September and at this time producer Dil Raju provided another 6 crores making a way for Kick 2 release. But Dil Raju gave this 6 Crores as an advance remuneration to Jr. NTR who has to sign a film with him.
Unfortunately, after clearing many financial hurdles Kick 2 was bombed at the box office. Kalyan ram couldn't even recover the money he has put into the project, meaning NTR lost around 12 crores.
