Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming movie is titled Kabali where he plays the role of a Chennai based don 'Kabaliswaran'. Ever since the news of Rajni playing don leaked all fans started comparing Kabali with his all time blockbuster film 'Baasha'.
Yesterday Rajinikanth attended the 90th birthday celebrations of a film producer and former minister RM Veerappan, who was one of the producers for Baasha. Media personnel present at the event has flooded Rajnikanth with the questions about Kabali and its similarities with Baasha. To these questions Rajinikanth replied "many people have asked me if Kabali can recreate the magic of Baasha, and my answer for all of them is there can be only one Baasha which can't be recreated".
Wishing RM Veerappan on his 90th birthday Rajinikanth conveyed a message to all "I knew the pain of being hospitalized and know many who frequented to hospitals, but RM Veerappan is not one of them. So I ask all of you to please take care of your health". Kaabali is directed by Pa. Ranjith and it is Rajnikanth's 159th film. The film also features Radhika Apte, Prakash Raj, Kalaiyarasan, Dhansika, and Dinesh Ravi in important roles.
