Ram Charan to Remake Jayam Ravi’s Tamil Film Thani Oruvan
Ram Charan Tej, who is currently busy shooting the final schedule of Bruce Lee, has recently watched Jayam Ravi’s latest Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan and expressed his interest in playing the lead role in Telugu remake of the film. The latest news is that a Tollywood filmmaker is in talks with the producers of the Tamil film for Telugu remake rights of Thani Oruvan.

A source close to Ram Charan told IANS that "Charan loved the script and excited to work in the Telugu remake of the film, but nothing has been finalized yet. The talks for film rights is still going and if a suitable director approaches Charan will work in the project". Since Charan is busy with 'Bruce Lee' and Chiranjeevi's 150th movie if all goes well the film may likely go on the floors in 2016.

Thani Oruvan is an action thriller film written and directed by Mohan Raja, brother of hero Jayam Ravi. The film is all about a sincere police officer who sets out to destroy Siddharth Abhimanyu (Arvind Swamy) the most corrupt person in the country. The movie became an instant blockbuster from the release and gained positive reviews from both the audiences and critics. After watching a special screening of Thani Oruvan, even Bollywood superstar Salman Khan liked it and expressed his interest of acting in Hindi remake. According to our sources, Mohan Raja is interested in directing both Telugu and Hindi remakes.
